All our bottles are standard 75cl bottles of wine or Champagne, unless a different size is specified.
All our labels are high-quality printed, size is 9cm by 7cm unless a different size is specified. Images on the web-site are low-quality for faster navigation and do not reflect the high quality of the final product.

Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We regret that we are currently only able to sell to the UK and European Union.
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from a country which currency is different from GBP, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.
We accept most main credit and debit cards, excluding American Express and Diners. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. |
Shipping And Handling Our standard packaging consists of a mailsafe insert or polysafe tube plus double wall cardboard carton.
If you order luxury or perspex gift box packaging your wine bottle will be securely packed in the box for safe transit.
Shipping and handling costs are calcuated on the total weight of the order. Shipping and handling costs are added to your order when you proceed to checkout. |
Delivery Schedule UK Schedule:
Recorded signed for: Up to 5 working days.
Special Delivery: 2 working days.
Saturday Delivery: 2 working days, including Saturday.
Please note that customers who wish to specify a particular delivery date will need to select either "Special Delivery" or "Saturday Delivery" as appropriate.

| Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will select an appropriate substitute from our wine list for you, of equal or greater value than the wine you have purchased. You will be notified by e-mail if this substitution is necessary, and you will be given the option to progress with the substitute wine, cancel your order or wait for the wine you ordered to be in-stock. |

Privacy Policy Society Wine do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Returns Policy Under the Home Shopping : Distance Selling Regulations private purchasers have the right to cancel the order up to 7 days after receipt of items if the items have not been used. This does not apply to items made to a purchasers own specification (eg: personalised labels, personalisation, own branding etc).
Returning of items is the resonsibility of the customer who is liable for the cost of returns. The customer must ensure all reasonable care is taken to ensure the safe return of items and in their original packaging where appropriate. Failure to return at the customers expense (except where the items are faulty or do not comply with the contract) Society Wine will recover the items and offset the amount against any refund due. If the items are faulty or do not comply with the contract Society Wine will be liable for return charges.
Cancellation of orders must be made by letter, fax or email. A phone call cancellation is not enough. It is the customers duty to take full care of all items.
Refunds for returned and cancelled orders will be made as soon as possible and within 30 days of return.
The Home Shopping : Distance Selling Regulations does not apply to Business purchases.
